Last week our family went out for a night at Pinnacle Peak. We rode the train and carousel and watched the shows. The girls LOVED it...until I told Vivian to wait on the carousel while I helped Madelyn down. She jumped off the platform and did a nose dive and when I rushed to pick her up I banged her head into a metal bar. Everyone gasped...I looked and felt like a bad mom. It was quite embarrassing but Vivian is a tough one. She takes after her Daddy in so many ways...especially with a high tolerance to pain. She's a trooper and it ended up being a very fun night.President Gordon B. Hinckley, “I believe that it should be the blessing of every child to be born into a home where that child is welcomed, nurtured, loved, and blessed with parents, a father and a mother, who live with loyalty to one another and to their children."
